GMAT 2019 Exam Notification

Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) is an international level entrance exam which is organized by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) throughout the year. This test is considered to get admission in MBA program and who want to do Masters in Finance related courses. And it is also a gateway to get admission in foreign countries. The examination is held in 112 countries all over the world.

As most of the students are aware of GMAT 2019 i.e it is a computer adaptive test which means only one question is displayed on the screen and depending upon the accuracy of the previous answer the questions will be displayed. If the questions are right then the next high-level questions are displayed or else the easier ones will be displayed. The average score required for abroad universities varies; top-tier universities require at least 710; whereas the middle tier universities accept 600.

GMAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for GMAT 2019 is prescribed by GMAC.

  1. Candidate should have a minimum graduation degree from a well-reputed institute or a college to apply for the exam.
  2. The final year students can also apply for the exam.
  3. No age limit to appear for the GMAT exam.

Attempts of GMAT exam:

  • The time between the 2 GMAT exams is: 16 Days
  • Number of GMAT attempts allowed in 1 year are: 5 attempts
  • Number of GMAT attempts in a lifetime are: 8 attempts

GMAT 2019 Exam Dates:

The GMAT exam is held throughout the year based on the demand which offers a great way of scheduling the exam. There are no fixed official dates for the exam, one can choose any date according to aspirant convenience. Based on the registration the time slots change frequently. You can appear for the exam 5 times in a year. But, one has to register before two or three months for the exam.

GMAT 2019 Exam Pattern:

The GMAT exam pattern consists of four sections: Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Reasoning to test the knowledge and the skill set of aspirants at different levels by considering various parameters. Each section has its own time. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours 30 minutes. The scores of GMAT are given with an increment of 10 points.

GMAT 2019 Syllabus:

  1. Analytical Writing Assessment
  2. Integrated Reasoning
  3. Quantitative Aptitude &
  4. Verbal Reasoning

GMAT 2019 Registration:

GMAT registration is all applicants must pay $250 as an application fee. The dollar will be approximately equal to Rs. 15000-16000.
Note: The name, DOB and the citizenship should exactly match the identification.
There will be no category every candidate has to pay the full fees. The candidates should make sure that they have a passport.

GMAT Application Fee Payment Mode: The application fee can be paid via three modes:

1. Cash deposit
2. Debit/ Credit Card
3. Net-banking

GMAT 2019 Exam Centers:

The GMAT exam is offered on demand and year-round at the following 31 cities in India through 35 test centers.

Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Manipal, Mohali, Mumbai, Mysore, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Patiala, Patna, Pilani, Pune, Ranchi, Tiruchirappalli, Trivandrum, Vellore, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.

GMAT 2019 Results:

Once the exam is completed the candidates can download the non-official GMAT results. The main result can be downloaded only after 20 days from an individual account. GMAT 2019 results are declared by the board (official website). The candidates who qualify for the round will be called to the further rounds of the selection process.
