SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS :

To promote excellence in education and to encourage students to aim higher, SSIM offers the best scholarships in Hyderabad for the MBA equivalent PGDM course. The merit-based scholarships are presented to motivate students, give opportunity to the right students and to boost up their enthusiasm in academics.

SSIM scholarships are awarded to students based on their cut-offs in CAT and GMAT, and XT,CMAT and MAT.

SSIM offers medals and cash awards to class and batch toppers to motivate students to keep up their performance levels and to instill in them a healthy competitive spirit. The awards are based on academic performance as well as moral conduct and discipline of the student as SSIM believes education is not merely about marks or scores but also about overall development of an individual.

It may be noted that students against whom disciplinary action has/had been initiated will not be eligible for the awards. Moreover, the conduct of the candidate should be satisfactory in the course of his/her stay at SSIM.

The awards given are as follows:

• PGDM General Medals & Awards:

The awards given are as follows:


(a) General
­ A Gold Medal and cash prize of Rs.25,000/­ will be awarded to the candidate who secures the highest
aggregate marks among the present batch of students and secures a minimum CGPA of 'B+'. The candidate should
also have passed all the papers in the first attempt.

(b) Specialization (PGDBA) ­A Gold medal and cash prize of Rs.10,000 will be awarded to that candidate who
secures the highest aggregate marks in all the courses of specialization concerned and secures a minimum of 'B'
CGPA. The candidate should also have passed all the papers in the first attempt.

(c) The student who secures highest aggregate marks at the end of First year is awarded a cash prize of Rs.10,000/
and the candidate who secures the second highest aggregate marks is awarded a cash prize of Rs.5,000/­. The marks
secured at the end­trimester examinations will be the basis for these awards.

• PGDM (Marketing) / PGDM (HR) / PGDM (BIFAAS):

Similar to the PGDM program, the student who score the highest aggregate marks among the students of the batch,
scores a minimum CGPA of B+ and passes all the papers in the first attempt will be awarded a Gold Medal and cash
prize of Rs.25,000/.

The student who secures highest aggregate marks at the end of First year is awarded a cash prize of Rs.10,000/
and the candidate who secures the second highest aggregate marks is awarded a cash prize.
