AcademicsAcademics at Siva Sivani includes the core faculty, a large number of visiting faculty from academic and corporate world and also a large number of distinguished visitors from india and abroad representing various avenues of management.

Our course structures relating to different PGDM programs we are offering contain some common papers and others unique to each course. We follow trimester approach and there are three trimesters each year and a 6 – 8 week summer internship after completion of first 3 trimesters. A student is required to study nearly 40 subjects in each PGDM on an average. All courses invariably contain application part of learning through Summer Internships, Specialisation Projects, Live Projects and practical studies at different stages of the program. In all we are handling 326 courses/papers – 68 finance, 37 marketing, 59 HR, 72 strategy, operations, IT & QT, besides 90 support papers like business English, soft skills, ARS (Article Review Session), CRS (Company Review Session) & BRS (Book Review Session) across all the programs which is a mammoth academic cycle every year.

There are optional add-ons in the kit of learning, if a student wishes to further enhance his/her knowledge skills. These include ERP training thro Oracle Applications, learning a foreign language like German, French, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese. A foreign educational tour is also structured in the program as add-on where in student will have opportunity to understand the international perspective of management. Of courses, these add-ons involve extra payment of fee.

To encourage students to learn on their own and also provide a platform for talent exhibition we have student clubs wherein students organize and conduct events like quizzes, paper presentations, and stock market game(mock) etc.

A separate group of faculty work on the NEWSNET to provide daily news from various sources – newspapers, magazines, websites and newsletters of important companies and consultants to students.
