International Achievement Award for Education Excellence

Sri Sailesh Sampathy, Vice President and Dy.Chief Executive,SP Sampathy’s Siva Sivani group of institutions has received an International Achievement Award for Education Excellence. This award is presented at 25^th Indo-Thai Entrepreneurs’ Summit at Hotel Grand Millenium, BANGKOK, THAILAND on 27th August 2010. This award is presented by Sri KORN DABBARANSY, Former Dy.Prime Minister of Thailand. Other esteemed guests on dais are Dr.Kiran Bedi, IPS, Mrs.Nagma Mallick, India’s Deputy Ambassador to Thailand, Ms.Valarie Mckenzie, Presenter of Thailand’s TV programme - “Morning Talk” and Mr.D.K.Bakshi, CEO, Global Talent Company, Thailand.

The second event in the series of our Golden Jubilee Year celebrations conducted by our CSR Wing ‘SRUSHTI.’ Srushti organized a Blood Donation Camp on 23^rd August, 2010. The Chief Guest Rtn. Smt. Vadlamani Rajyalakshmi inaugrated the Blood donation camp. Other distinguishing members from Rotary and Lions Clubs, NIMS & APSACS were also present. The president Smt. Aarthy Sampathy, Vice President SriSailesh Sampathy, and other executives of the group institutions were also present. More than 300 students and faculty members have donated blood.

SSIM family congratulate Mr. S. Shyam Sunder Rao, Librarian for getting a Service Award 2010 for his Outstanding Performance in the area of Library & Information Science in India. This award is awarded by Indian Association of Special Libraries & Information Centres (IASLIC), Kolkata & Advanced Systems Laboratory (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India.
